Vision and Mission
The premiere research unit, with sustainable, relevant, and responsive research culture among all DOH retained hospitals in Region by the year 2020.
1. To generate quality research output that is aligned with the national research agenda for the improvement of the health care delivery system
2. To create programs that will stimulate interest to all JBLMRH staff in formulating original and significant research ideas.
3. To sustain highly competent research organization through continuous medical education and training.
Organizational Structure
The Health Research and Development Unit (HRDU) is a special committee directly under the Medical Center Chief II. Under the HRDU are four subcommittees namely: (1) Research Management Committee, (2) Capacity-Building Committee, (3) Ethics and Review Committee; and (4) Research Utilization and Publication Committee.
